The legend continues
It all began back in 1983, with a bunch of legends that became some of the biggest names in the surf industry. Over the years, people started to drop off and the once-thriving Pāpāmoa Boardriders became more of a social drinking club. We partnered with a few hardcore locals to get the club rebranded, formalised, affiliated with NZ Surfing, and bring sponsors along for the ride.

A new dawn(ie)
This new generation of local surfers were eager to breathe new life into a sleeping icon. In a matter of months, Pāpāmoa Boardriders Club was officially reborn with a collective vision to “Create NZ’s most progressive boardriders club, full of legends who live to surf.”
Standing out from the crowd
Our key brand objectives were to create an identity that reflected the unique Pāpāmoa surf community, while differentiating from the neighbouring Bay Boardriders and the rest of New Zealand.
